Roger not retiring!

Anything Roger: UNICEF, news, articles, general photographs.

I thought it was revealing when Roger said  he wasn't a "Romeo." Mm.... this was shortly before he left to set up home with Kristina. I loved it when he told the interviewer not to believe everything she reads in newspapers, and "Don't believe everything I tell you" in his own mischievous way! :smt002

Hi Plantagenet,

Many thanks for posting the link. :smt006  I loved it when Roger said a few words in Swedish for his hosts in that wonderful smooth voice of his. He and Kristina looked as happy  as ever.  :smt001

Great too that Roger is  travelling around giving readings of Kipling's work, and as this thread so rightly says "Roger is not Retiring."

Saving RM interviews and pics

Postby Goodnight007.2 on Tue Sep 25, 2007 1:17 am

Hi All

Re keeping RM's interviews on ones computer (or for that matter, off the computer)when the interview is no longer online. I bought myself a computer USB storage device thing. I think is what it's called and all I did was plug it into my computer tower, click on 'removable device' then go to your favourites or the site where the interviews are and just put them into the folder marked removable device and you can rename the interviews so as you know what they are. It works, I've tried it. Have a go

It also saves a lot of space on your hard drive coz you can put pics on it as well and all sorts of things. I bought a 2GB one which has plenty of space. :smt001

Hi Goodnight007.2,

Many thanks for sharing that info with us.  It seems very easy, and I'll be trying it out for myself as soon as I can. :smt001
