MUCKRAKER - 007 Moore's £1m to write raunchy life story at 79
It's not for his eyes only...
Roger Moore is to reveal all his top secrets in an explosive warts-and-all autobiography.
And the 007 actor, who turns 80 this month, wants an eyebrow-raising £1million for the book.
Sir Roger, who starred in seven Bond films including Moonraker and For Your Eyes Only, tells of his colourful sex life, his romps with Bond girls (he's keeping their names under wraps for now) and his early years as a male model. And he comes clean about his four marriages, including his decision to leave the first Mrs Moore for older singer Dorothy Squires. He's also written a chapter about his battle with prostate cancer, which he beat after surgery in 1993.
Sir Roger, who also played Sixties TV character The Saint, has told his agent to get a mega-deal for the book, and wants at least £1million.
The agent has been in talks with several major publishers and an announcement is expected this week.
A source in publishing said: "There's a lot of excitement about Roger Moore's life story. Everyone's waiting to see how much it goes for."
The book, which Sir Roger has been working on for two years, covers his childhood - and beatings by his policeman dad - up to his recent work with children's humanitarian group Unicef.
The source added: "This will be one of the great showbiz autobiographies."

Looking foreward very much to reading it, if it happens.
