Your favourite Roger Moore One-Liners?

Postby Amber on Tue Sep 25, 2007 7:55 pm

I'm sure we can all recall some very amusing one-liners Roger  has used in his movies and tv shows. Which are your favourites?

For starters this one springs to mind:

Right at the end of "The Spy Who Loved Me" Bond is in a passionate embrace with Major Anya Amasova, and is asked what he is doing. His reply - "Keeping The British End Up Sir!" :smt003

Roger had so many great one-liners in his tv shows and movies. I sometimes get the feeling he made a lot of them up himself.

This one springs to mind, it's from "The Saint" and the show was called "Invitation To Danger." Simon Templar has been tied up by his wrists, and is hanging a few feet off the ground. A hoodlum hits him, to make him talk, and Simon says this in a nonchalont kind of a way - "You need a manicure!" :smt001

I think my favourite line of RM's onscreen is in Powerswitch (ep of The Persuaders as if noone knew) :smt001 where he introduces himself to the girl by saying "Sinclair, Brett Sinclair, but you may call me darling". Just love it. :smt003
