Former JAMES BOND star ROGER MOORE refuses to stop wearing eyeglasses - despite stocking up on hundreds of pairs of contact lenses.

The 007 actor admits he feels more confident wearing his glasses because he can hide his age behind the frames.
And Moore is convinced being a spectacle-wearer boosts his aesthetic confidence.
He says, "I think I look better in glasses these days. They hide the bags under my eyes, so I tend to prefer them to contacts."

Cant say I blame him. Contacts can be hard on the eyes. Do you think he ever wore colored contacts for some shows? His eyes looked bluer in some movies more than others.

I noticed that sometimes Roger's eyes seemed light blue or dark blue in various photos. That explains it!

I expect he'd have had to remove the contacts when shooting action scenes/fights etc. for safety.
