Roger at his best?

Thinking about Roger's long and very varied career in tv and movies, when do you think Roger looked his absolute best? :smt007

In the 1950's he was boyishly good-looking, and started to mature nicely in his days as "The Saint" in the 1960's. Then of course we had Bond and beyond.

I have been watching my dvd of Roger in "Gold" and to me, in that movie he had never looked better, in every way, and had never been so romantic either.  :smt002

It would have to be The Saint for me. I think most men look their best in their 30's and 40's. I never cared for his looks prior to The Saint, or in The Persuaders.  :smt083 But I think he also looked good in his later Bond years as well as in the post Bond movies, like Bed and Breakfast.

Well for me, when I think Roger looked his best,  it would have to be when he made the movies for Warner Brothers in the late 50's - "The Miracle" "Gold of the Seven Saints" and "The Sins of Rachel Cade."  :smt007

Though he certainly did mature ever so well in the following years- and continues to do so. :smt002

Roger at his best

Hi Connie

I agree with you, but I would like to add that I thought he not only looked his best in Gold, but also in my favourite film of all time (of RMs or indeed any film)Shout At The Devil. SATD I also thought brought out the comedic side of him very well and of course the romantic side of him with only a hint of smaltz. :smt007

I have to agree with Connie and Goodnight. Bond and beyond for me.
But he always has and still looks good. One of my all time favourites is a photo taken in 1992 or so. I would post it but I can't find it right now.
