This may be a silly question but could be fun. If you were introuble, who would you rather ask for help. Saint or Bond? :smt003

Hi Master Jedi D,
Welcome!  Great question too.

For me, it would have to be Simon Templar. He's much more sincere and caring than Bond, and   would be there for you, come what may.

Which would you choose?

I'd choose bond because he's a spy and has license to kill.

I'd have to go for Bond too.

He's saved the world so many times from evil villains, that he'd be great to have on your side.

I prefer the Saint all around, but Bond is great, too. I'd choose the Saint because he was able to get out of tough situations relying on his own wit and ingenuity without the use of any gadgets. After watching some of Bond's out of this world adventures, despite a few weird Saint episodes, I'd still say Simon Templar was more down to earth, or was he? What do you think?

It's a toss up ...  depends on the kind of help I needed. If I was involved with the mafia for some reason then the Saint. If I needed help with say "Enron" and finding who was cheating who maybe I would call on Bond. Then again, BOTH could do the job!

For me it would be Simon Templar, without a doubt.

I feel that you'd want someone like Templar as a friend. Bond is a great hero figure, but not sure he's someone I'd actually want to meet.

For me, it depends on the situation. If i was being financially ripped off by someone or had a noisy neighbour, (which I do), then Simon would be my man.BUT....on the other hand, if I was in great personal danger, Bond would be my man.

I know this wasn't in the choices, but if I was stood up by a date, I would like Brett Sinclair as a replacement date please. :smt007

I prefer Simon Templar, I think that he would be there for any help one could need, behaving in a friendly way. Though I have to concede that James Bond looks more powerful and would be the one anyone would try to reach when in danger. And alike Goodnight007.2, for a date I would love to meet Brett Sinclair.
