I voted for "The Spy Who Loved Me" and I believe it was Roger's favourite too.

In this one Roger really came into his own playing Bond, he seemed much more relaxed and self-assured. Everything about it was great, glamorous locations, fast moving exciting story, great gadgets, and of course the first appearance of "Jaws."

Hard to name just one. Roger is my favorite 007, the only reason I like Bond to begin with. Okay. I pick TMWTGG 'cos it always gets the worst reviews and its a good movie. :)

Hi Kendall and welcome!

I loved TMWTGG, and could never understand why it got such bad reviews. It certainly didn't deserve it.

Welcome to the forum, Some1! Glad to have you with us.

My favourite Roger Bond is "For Your Eyes Only". I thought the music in the film suited its atmosphere, and I don't just mean the main these song, but the music played during various scenes. I liked Roger's acting, he was tough & serious when he had to be, and the humour was tongue in cheek and not overabundant.

I went for "Live And Let Die." At the time there were so many die-hard Bond fans,  sure  that Roger was going to be disastrous. They all got proved wrong!

Loved all the characters, the crocodile farm scenes, the speedboat chase, I couldn't fault any of it.

My favorite bond is The Spy Who Loved Me because I thought the battle was done very well. I was 7 years old when I saw it the first time and  was impressed with the Liparus. Moonraker was my second favorite. :smt004

I voted for Moonraker in the poll & was pleasantly surprised to see it was the top rated film!  :smt003
So many times people have talked  :smt013  about it but really it had it all, great villains, gadgets, & of course the girls!
Plus Roger's great sense of humor really comes through.

And the last lines in it are classic -
"Take me around the world one more time"

"Why not?" :smt002

I voted for Octopussy. Maud Adams was the best Bond girl ever because she wasn't just a pretty face. And Roger was perfect as always.

Welcome to SimplyMoore, Ena! Glad to have you here.  :smt001

Check out the poll results so far. Nice to see that all Roger Bonds are getting recognition, though the middle three seem to be in the lead so far.  :smt003

Hello everyone !

It was really hard for me to decide which one I  prefer
best. But in the end I chose Octopussy, because the movie has a lot in it : good suspence, comedy, drama and a lot of action too. Moonraker and the spy who loved me
are the 2 other Bond movies I considered in my # 1 choice.  Moonraker is the first Bond film I saw in theatre.
I was 10 years old then. And It was memorable.Great atmosphere.
