Blue eyes and blond, the NEW 007...what do you think?

Well, I voted for the second option, because I'm
more curious  than anything else. He is certainly not my idea of Bond, and in nearly all the pics I've seen of him seems to just have one facial expression. He kind of pouts in a "look at me, I look tough and could easy play Bond great" expression.

Interesting to see how die-hard fans re-act to the new movie.

Roger was  blue-eyed and blond too, but as the song goes "Nobody Does It Better."

Roger wasn't really blond in The Saint or Bond, more medium to dark brown. In most Saint shows his hair almost looks brunette thanks to the grease he's using to smooth it back. As I recall Roger's hair was lighter in Live And Let Die and then went back to darker. Craig is what one might call a "true blond". Moore falls into the category of what some women like to call "tall, dark and handsome", like the rest of Bond actors, Craig, IMHO, is none of the above. Brosnan and Dalton also had blue eyes. I think it's the hair colour that's more of an issue with Craig, as well as his height. Compared to 6'2" other Bond actors, he is under 6' tall, I believe he is 5'11".  :smt001

I will continue watching Bond movies even with Craig unless the producers decide to make drastic changes. But I stopped taking it seriously after Roger Moore left, because everything changed with his departure.  :smt002

I have now, sorry.  :smt001 Voted for #2 with Amber, but could have easily voted for the other two as well. It's sort of the case of "on the one hand, and yet on the other hand", lol  :smt002  :smt003

It's funny how Roger's hair changed shades all the time, but I always did prefer him with blond hair.

Who knows if Craig is a true blond or not?

I am the other way around, preferring Moore with darker hair, the way it was in The Saint and in his more known movies.  :smt001 But speaking impartially, lighter or darker shade, it suited him depending on the role he played.

Of course, these are more or less minor things, a matter of taste. I am sure there'll be many fans who'd find Craig good looking enough to play Bond. People kept raving about Lazenby's looks, and I couldn't understand what they were talking about, I thought he was the least appealing of all Bond actors.  :smt102

Yes....looks are important but an individual thing. Craig is going to have to work magic IMO for me to keep my interest in Bond. He is going to have to do something really different and at the same time keep it in 007 fashion! Rog followed Sean...and Rog made it his style which worked well but still kept  it like the original 007. I will be watching Craig on his acting capabilities....to heck with his hair
