From what I can remember, he did a couple of shows set in a bowling alley, and he was captain of his team. He was excellent too and won every time.
He was also in a movie quiz show, and once again he was the captain of his team. His opposing team was captained by his old friend Edmund Purdom, and once again Roger's team went on to win.
Another show, can't remember what it was called, maybe Password??? Roger had to give clues to his partner, so that she would successfully guess words. He did a little friendly cheating in that one.
Some time in the early 60's - I think it was 64, he appeared at a massive pop concert that was held to honour groups and pop stars. He came on stage to present several trophies and he was very good humoured and friendly. The Beatles received one from him.
My big regret now is that it was years before video recorders came on the scene, so the shows could be lost forever.
Youtube always keep on coming up with rare finds, so you never know, one day ...!
