Thanks Sunny for the info. Both sets sound great and have fantastic features.

For those who already own these DVD's, and bought them  earlier from another company, but without  those extras, will they now be tempted to purchase them again?

Welcome to Simply Moore, stbodie!  :smt001

That's good news about the DVD sets, the price is not bad considering this is the entire series plus many extras.

The Complete Colour Saint DVD set has been available for a while now from Amazon.uk. Thought I'd mention it here as well.

This sounds  very much like the boxed video set I bought a few years ago, though now available on DVD. They too contained lots of archeological info, visiting sites named in the bible associated with the Holy Family,  and Roger narrating.

The UK release of The New Saint set with extra features

Postby Goodnight007.2 on Sun Oct 15, 2006 9:33 pm

I have bought my Saint set from Umbrella entertainment here in Australia, as we are region 4. It has audio commentaries on some of the eps and that is about it. But it has enough for me to enjoy. I am still waiting for The Saint Set 6 to come out here to complete the collection.
(Anyone know when this will happen?).

Therefore it is unlikely that I will be buying the Saint Special Edition you mention.

Turns out I HAVE all the Saint dvds there is to have. But hot off the press from another RM website (the Polish one that is also in english), wait for it....There is a dvd of one of my favourite non Bond RM movies Bed and Breakfast coming out soon. YAY. I bought an old vhs copy of the movie from someone and the quality was poorer the moore I played it :smt003. So I am really looking forward to its release on dvd. They didn't say what countries were getting it, but I will let you know when I know. :smt001
