|
The creator of www.Buggynews.com, and the man personally responsible for my involvement in buggy sports, has passed away unexpectedly on September 10th, 2007. God rest him, and may all those who knew him, rememeber him and praise his efforts in the buggy community, by continuing his passion, and continue to bring Buggies to the forefront of offroading.
My condolences to his family, and God Rest Steve, HOPSTER!!!!
Not many details, but here is the BN page of this sad event.....

It truly is tragic. He will be missed. We should remember what he did for us. God bless Steve.

Such devasting news. Hopster, Jabo, ACBlind and Myself were supposed to be meeting up soon. Steve and I were working out the schedule. I stopped by his store a few weeks ago. Unfortunatley he was out the day I stopped by. In my opinion he has had the largest impact on the Mini-Buggy industry. Yes, there are guys that have sold them. Yes, Carter, Yerf, Joyner have all made their marks, but no one can compare with the continued contact that Steve had on people that purchased these machines and kept riding them. He will be missed by all of us.
God bless Steve and his family.

Steve will be missed, he was a great guy and a dedicated family man!
All our prayers go out to Sue and his children.
We can keep his memory alive by continuing our efforts to make these buggies part of our family fun and helping those new to our sport like he did!
