Hi Tom, it was great talking to you.  Here are the photos of the carb.  Just give me a shout if you can match it with any of that stuff you got coming in.

Great pics!
That looks like a standard carb. I don't think I'll have any problem finding one. I need to have a couple in the shop anyways. I just got those parts in yesterday but they're still sitting in the boxes. I am trying to get them unpacked and put on our site but being a "one man band" AND having ADHD,
has got me running in circles!  Razz
If you can bear with me, I'll get into the swing of things soon and be running like clockwork! (ya right!)
OOOhhh, look at the butterfly!  Rolling Eyes

Just give me a shout when your ready.  I know the prices will vary a lot among different suppliers so just do the best you can.  The depot site has them for about 80 and one of the ebay suppliers has them for 45.
45 sounds great but it always makes me wonder when things get to cheap.  They might just send you a photo of the carb in a nice pretty frame.

krusekontrol,
We have 2 carbs for the 150.
We have an MRP 28MM 4 stroke carb for $60 and a VM-26 Mikuni Carb for $80. I looked everywhere and the prices on these things vary from $45 to $200!!!! I can't seem to find another really cheap version of what you want.
I hope this helps some. I can send pics of them later if you want.

Tom

Hey Vinney,
Your wife called me today and ordered your carb and Uni !!
You should have it by Friday !
I know very little about those carbs so let me know what you think. It's my 1st one and I'm told it's nice. It has a manual choke lever on the carb which I think will be a great addition but will wait to hear what you think.

Tom

I let ya know how it goes ASAP.  I hope I can get it on this weekend.   All I have left to do is  hard wire the broken starter relay and tie up the wires and away we go.

Hey Vinny,
I don't know if you had a chance to mess with that carb after we talked but I had a few minutes so I took a couple pics to show you how the throttle cable works on those. Hope this helps.

Tom

The throttle cable end goes thru the rubber in the top, thru the spring and into the black barrel inside the cab that has the needle in it. You'll have to compress the spring into the top cap then slide the cable end thru the middle of the spring then into the long slot on the black barrel. If you need help with that part, give me a call and I'll walk yu thru it!
Good luck!
Tom

I used a gear shift cable off a ten speed bike.  The ball was smaller and fit better.  When I get the spacer and complete the install I will test it before I reshape the ball on the original carb cable.

Thanks, Now I don't feel like such a dummy.

Hi Tom,  I was wondering if you know the size of the jet in the carb I got from you.  I have not given up on it just yet, it shows to much potential.  I have a broken chain to prove it.

btw hope things at the park are still going well.  I can't wait to get down there when your ready for us.
