We are riding socially in a couple weeks at Tamaqua mines in PA. Just thought we should make a thread about PA places to ride in this forum!
Hope everyone whose been there can add to this... It is a great place, not too far from where I live, about an hour and 45 min... LOADS of trails, rock, dirt, COAL, dust...But amazing scenery, and cool sight to see. Anyone else been/care to share???

Tamaqua is a nice town, the location is behind the High School and provides plenty of trails and other areas.
One recomendation I'd make is that goggles and a face mask or bandana of some sort should be required.
I would also recommend that you NOT ride alone....
It's a great place and the locals are very friendly.
I wish ACBlind and I could go on the next ride. We just don't have time to repair the buggies before the Oct. 27th date.

If anybody goes, it is a requirement that you WEAR A DUST MASK AND GOGGLES, otherwise you will be hurting for a few days afterwards lol. A nice area with various terrain and nice scenery. The locals are friendly too. _________________ First NEBA Member |

I'll be out until well after santa go back to the northpole. He mugs me every year and it takes a while to recover. Plus I still have to fix the buggies and buy a truck and trailer. So guys but I will be down for a long while. Tax time might help a little. _________________ 2 Crossfires 2 Crossfire R's |
