We are riding socially in a couple weeks at Tamaqua mines in PA. Just thought we should make a thread about PA places to ride in this forum!
Hope everyone whose been there can add to this... It is a great place, not too far from where I live, about an hour and 45 min... LOADS of trails, rock, dirt, COAL, dust...But amazing scenery, and cool sight to see. Anyone else been/care to share???

Tamaqua is a nice town, the location is behind the High School and provides plenty of trails and other areas.
One recomendation I'd make is that goggles and a face mask or bandana of some sort should be required.
I would also recommend that you NOT ride alone....
It's a great place and the locals are very friendly.
I wish ACBlind and I could go on the next ride. We just don't have time to repair the buggies before the Oct. 27th date.

If anybody goes, it is a requirement that you WEAR A DUST MASK AND GOGGLES, otherwise you will be hurting for a few days afterwards lol. A nice area with various terrain and nice scenery. The locals are friendly too.

I'll be out until well after santa go back to the northpole. He mugs me every year and it takes a while to recover. Plus I still have to fix the buggies and buy a truck and trailer. So guys but I will be down for a long while. Tax time might help a little.
