Great little movie john, I can't wait for the next one. btw that was a nice save you made coming hill 5. Thats not an easy hill to drive up with one hand on the wheel and another holding a camera.

it was a tough one!!! lol... As soon as that thing jerked to the right, I dropped the camera and pulled hard and hit the gas!!!!! lol... I thoguth for sure it was rolling over, but thank god it is a DOOM 150!!!! hehehehe....

First off, i LOVE all of you for many reasons,
Number 1, I never even knew that power line run existed
Number 2, For hosting this on a weekend when my buggy was just sputtering back in movement, took like 20 min to get it to run
Number 3,
Well i guess thats about it
Are you going back anytime in the winter when theres snow? Maybe i could ACUTALLY get in a group picture for once? this makes 3 ive missed
Oh well, atleast josh wasnt there!

Well... We would tell you, but you have to change the site banner first! lol.. Only three people have been to every single EMR trip, AND ever NE Gang trip... Guess who..... lol
ANYWAY... We can only go when we can offer a larger group (5+), as there are NO more ATV weekends... It makes no sense to make another meet there and only have 3 guys show when we had 7-10 committed! That wont fly anymore with EMR... They said we can keep coming, but they wont cater to one or two buggies,--AND--it will require 3-4 weeks notice...as we now have to ask permission and schedule around Paintball weekends...
But... If we do decide to go again, or have any other plans, you can be included in the emails when you change the banner!!! lol

The one place that is CLOSE to me, and it is already closing...
Who wants to go back to rausch? Or wait didnt that close down to...

the reason being that the bread and butter of EMR is SOLEY Paintball.. The trails started out as ways to get around the property, and to different playing fields... almost 3 years ago, they started the ATV weekends, just to spark some extra income, but all advertising was sent to PAINTBALL, again, as this is the ONLY reason EMR exists in the first place!!! The ATV thing was a hobby they have and wanted to gain a few extra bux on, which it did not do until we came along, but a lil too late in the game to make it worth maintaining all the trails and bandwith for something that generates 0% income for the property. SO...they will allow us to ride there as buggy trips, but basically, two buggies wont fly...I think even 3 is an insult to rent the property for a day... If we go, it would have to be something serious, and not something that people committ to one day and cancel the next...
It happened for the rally, it happened last weekend, and it will always happen, but if we want places to ride, people gotta start riding!!! lol... I know there are ALWAYS reasons, and good ones too, for people not being able to attend, however, they have no idea that their committment was conveyed to the owners of the property, then they cancel, and then the owners are asking "is anyone else coming? " "Is this it?" And those who show are left scratching heads thinking what now? These guys expected 500 bux today, and got 300... now they got no profit, cuz they had to pay two people for the weekend to stay and watch the place... Now it is worthless for them to continue the ATV rides, unless they supplement the price or limit activities to day rides only instead of weekends.... so on yadda yadda... Look at Paragon!!!!! GONE!!!!!!
This is by NO MEANS a dig or scalding at anyone or any person in the gang/club/NEBA or friends of NEBA... it is just a situation we are facing, and it stinks... The places that do cater to buggies and ATV's are facing higher liability insurances, higher taxes, and less and less riders as the years go by, even tho we all know buggy-ing is growing in exponential amounts! I understand people cancel for reasons beyond their control, and it happens... At the same time, EVERYONE needs to realize that it not only affects the group riding (not having the cool company), but it affects the business as well! It is all about the $$$, and when the $$$ aint there, the services wont be either!
Sorry bout the rant, but it is a true reality. Kidinme is working REAL hard to get something going, and many people show interest, many people talk big game, but then time for action, and in roll the excuses... oh, got church that day, or sorry, too far of a drive this week, or my favorite: The buggy wont start... HA! You are going to a BUGGY PARK!!!! You would think SOMEONE there would be able to help you get the buggy started!!!!!! lol... But I digress...
We had a blast... It was awesome to see all the LTS buggies, all evolutions of the same design and how well they hold up on rough terrain! And it was just good times with good people as always!!!!
Make sure you make the meets... They are worth it a million times over just by looking back at the pics!!!

LOL Seriously, Thats why I left a message for Chris when it happened so you guys know I serious about this buggy thing. I'm not one to make a promise and back out(and the worse kind of backing out is when people don't bother to tell you) . I'm a business owner and know exactly what you mean about the loss of profitability by people not keeping committments....
