Anyone up for a winter ride? Cause I am dieing sitting at my house watching my kart collect dust and surface rust. Tried riding it in my driveway but have to keep getting out to turn it around is a pain and so are the neighbors. So anyone want to go??

It might take a few weeks to make sure it's all ok. If we have to dump the database for any major changes we will lose all member data, so it would be best to just bounce around with a few of us until we get it right.
When all testing is done then we can redirect the url to the forum and i will register neba.com as a redirect to the website

Where have you been??? EMR closes for the winter, and is no longer hosting weekends for ATV's. I am almost positive they never allowed sleds, as their website only allowed waivers fro buggies and 4 wheelers...(which is completely gone by the way) As per going there with the club, a serious effort would be needed... Just 2-3 buggies wont do it anymore. They need to make money, and charging 35 bux a person and having only 4 people show wont keep the doors open to us.
Andy the OPS MAN., - Chris and I talked about it, and as long as we arrange something with him, he said we can go there, however, he basically said they would prefer to host larger events IF we were to have them there... I wish they kept the monthly get-togethers, but there wasnt enough interest, even with the buggies!!! It is a darn shame too, as the timing was SOOOOO close, it is amazing how we just missed hitting it with them!!!
Chris pointed out that the ATV weekends started in 2005 at EMR, and the buggy bash for the NE started in 06... BUT, people were looking for places to ride back in 05, early 06, and EMR WAS hosting, but somehow we missed it until the tail end of 06! By then, it was basically too late... We rode there 4-5 times in 07, but not enough to make them wanna keep open to atvs and pay the costs of operations for the days we ride....
Long and short, if you want a winter ride, it has to be somewhere public, EMR closes in December, and Tamaqua is the only "regionally close place with regards to other memers traveling to meet us.... We need to get in touch with Boilerman to see how the mountain is in the winter, and Josh or I can look into the Jersey thing at the PAL track down in Egg Harbor...
I want to get a winter ride together, and I want to get something tentative for the NE gang for the spring, like a spring fling, or spring cleaning event once the frost is gone!!! lol... Either way, we need to branch out and keep looking for riding locations until we can find something more permenent....
I dont mind driving 3 hours to go somewhere, so I will keep looking for places north and south of me... TH, you gotta help me out, you seem to have a knack for finding places!!! lol.... after all... YOU found EMR!!!!
Lets get something for December!!!!!

I will going down to PAL for a scout trip, just have to find a trailer and I will go.
I think I might have found a spot to ride, it is a lot like EMR but more trails and like 100acres bigger.

Pennies for krusekontrol! Now thats a great idea. Right now the extra 3 acres is DOA. The closing cost on the cashout and then the purchase contract was just to high over market value. But maybe we can buy some of that 500 acres thats behind me.

I am trying to work on getting us limited access but both owners are in FL. HOwever I am still working on getting intouch with another person that may beable to give us permission for a winter ride.
If I am able to get access their will be very strict rules as to where we can ride. If anyone decides to mess around and hit the golf course or the home sites all buggies will be kicked off the property.
So if we can get a meet up hear we must be at our best. I also plan on speaking to the investors that are buying the land to see about permanment access for NEBA.
