2 hr ride huh? it's like 3 1/2 for me, close to 4!!! lol.. I would pick up everything and move if I wasnt into my career this deep!! My dream job is customizing Buick Grand Nationals, fixing broken Mercury Maruaders, and selling/modding buggies!!!!
lol
Just a little dream i guess!!!
Tom, if you ever find the need to expand your domain to Jersey, keep me in mind!!!!!

Actually, we will be looking for a few good people next season.
As we start to open our park, (we are keeping our fingers crossed for next season) we will be interviewing people with knowledge of these karts and a friendly attitude to ride in our specially marked karts all afternoon, talking with customers and helping them out if needed. we will also outfit you with a digital camera so you can take pics of everyone having fun for our web videos each week! The park will have a "Summer camp" atmosphere with safety and fun being the two top priorities. There will also be unstructured riding but the bulk will be families with kids that want to have some safe fun together out in nature! If this sounds like a "Dream job" to you, then by all means, contact us and put in your 2 cents! _________________ KidNme Motorsports

I forgot to mention. The park will be in PA, near where we held the rally last year so it may be closer for some of you. Also, if enough people apply, you won't have to give up all your weekends as we will rotate everyone if they so choose.
This is a little premature right now but it's something that is coming and I like to hit the floor running so to speak. A solid foundation will build a solid business and hopefully will translate into lots of people being introduced to buggies and each other for a day or two! _________________ KidNme Motorsports

I could do the park thing. I have a lot of experience of getting vechiles unstuck and things, so I could do that or something. _________________ Dark_side_150

I cant edit my posts, but what if you did a day camp thing for kids and adults. Like how to ride thought different types of terrain and how not to do things.
Have them camp there overnight and go out the next day show them, the riding, how to "tread lightly" and things. _________________ Dark_side_150

What I think Tom is looking for ideally:
Motivated individuals with knowledge of "in-the-field" repair, ability to adapt to different situations, offer guidance and direction to those in need, control riding areas and ensure rider saftey, as well as patrol grounds, and ensure the property is well maintained during those weekends and riding sessions. Also important is the ability to recognize possible hazards, act as a "guard" to make sure individuals are riding appropriately and not wreckless, and probably the most important... You gotta be able to deal with people no matter what the situation...
Tom, you know I am 100% in... Whatever you need!!! I think these guys and girls could handle a few responsibilities as well. I think they are capable of riding along with customers, doing exactly what snapper was saying!! Pulling people out of any mud or mess, as well as giving demonstrations and helping where needed. Everyone has to remember, when you run a weekend thing, you are devoting all your energy to that... That means a keen eye on people, grounds, and machinery!!! it is tough, but I am in 100% support of anyone willing to help out!
Good luck.. Tom, you got the #, call me when you need me!!! (that sounds kinda arrogant, doesnt it?) I mean, i miss you hunny... call me... XOXOXO lol

This sounds like a great idea. Although I am about 2 hours away, if you come closer to Pa. it would not be a problem. We are finally starting to get noticed, and if something like this were to really take off it would be beneficial to everyone. Maybe we could even get Honda back into the game (I think thats wishful thinking though). KidNme, pm me when you get the chance, maybe we can do lunch sometime. _________________ First NEBA Member |

Miss you too Sweety!
That's a perfect analogy John! See, That's why I want you at the park!
Smart and good looking too!
Seriously, John hit it right on the head! HAPPY PEOPLE will be needed.
Just think of your first buggy ride and what would have made it better and that's what we want to do at the park. Safety instruction, Minor field repairs, just saying "hello, is there anything I can do for you today" or "any activity you need directions to?" Pose for a picture for us and we'll put you on our website for your friends to see! "Say KidNmeeeeee"!!
This is where all this is going for us. It's why we opened a shop and is the dream we started almost 3 years ago and we're well on our way!
You can't imagine all the hurdles you have to jump through to get something like this done but it will all be worth it in the end!
I can't think of a more helpful community than buggy people so I think the only way this will fail is if we stop trying! _________________ KidNme Motorsports
