lol... OK adam... I'll be 4... I think TEAMHOG and KRUSEKONTROL are # 1 and 2!!! lol.. We will devise a serious registration and numerical system in the near future for "official" NE members... remember... Anyone can register for the site and the club, but to make it offical... You gotta make the meets!!!! Only three people have been to every single meet... You... Your Dad... and myself... BUT... KRUSEKONTROL made the Birthday Bash and brought an army of X-fires to battle the y-dogs... lol... DZ was a founding father!!! lol.. And hopefully simsim44 can make a few in the near future!!!!
Lets not forget the father of the NE BASH!!!! KIDINME!!!! So... With that said... I think we should make it a requirement to have people register for teh club, and to make it official, they have to attend a meet or two a year.... I can keep track of attendance no prob! I think it is only fair that everyone is held accountable for some contribution to teh organization, whether it is attending the meets, to organizing or scouting...whatever... We should make it a rule.... Also, It should be mandatory attendance for the NE BASH!!!! lol... I know it'll never happen, but it should!!!!!!

I would like to make it mandatory for members to make the meets but that can be very diffcult for some people. We are at such an early stage in the game i think we should just keep open ended and friendly for now.
The forum sign up should be the standard member registration for now and as for the meets I think we should just try to encourage and help people make the meets for now.
First we grow the the club then we tune it up. In the very near future I would agree with a more formal reg and annual mandatory meet.

I dont think it would be feesible ever, for a mandatory meet, but I do think it should be some form of requirement to make at least one or more of the meets we have yearly... TH, AC and I have met at least 7 times in 07, all in the NE. That is how this all started!!! lol. Each time we met, someone else came along, and this includes the birthday bash and the NE bash this past summer. Everytime we go, it seems to get better! We learn more, and we participate together more, and it is just more fun!!! I think that if everyone could attend the meets that we have, you learn much faster, and it benefits the club more as a whole, especially with experience levels!!!
As per mandatory, I dont think it ever possible to appease every persons schedule... I do think that one or two meets a year is not out of the question! DZ made 3!!! lol So... With that said... If we write a code of conduct, and rules for club membership... I think a mandatory 1 out of every 4 meetings should be made, and at least try to make the birthday bash or the summer bash... 1 or the other... preferrably both!!! lol... In an ideal world, I would have 10 meets a year, including the national bash, the regional bash and the birthday bash, and the rest, our monthly get togethers that TH, AC and myself enjoy so much!!! It would be great to set a calendar 4-5 months ahead of time, with 4-5 events planned. For instance, the Natiional bash is already scheduled for June of 08. I think it would be great to start setting plans for trips in late feb, march and april now, so that everyone can plan for them 1 at a time. I would make plans or change my plans to make all of them, however, I know most people cannot do so. But, if we set specific dates,AND rain-dates, we could make it so that everyone has a chance to attend most meetings, or pick and choose which ones they can!!!
I am getting ahead of myself and just thinking out loud... I love how this is growing, and I cant wait to get back out in the woods or on the coal paths!!! lol

We could make ID cards with a pic of your buggy and you mark the card every time you go to a meet so you can prove you been there and stuff.
This has come a long way since I first came across this like a year ago, this time next year we should be even more better!!!!1!!1one!!
