AirTox (my company) does a lot of work on Long Island, therefore I've driven around a lot.  I haven't seen any places to ride.  I've also asked around at the power plants I have as clients and no one there knows of anywhere to ride other than some vacant properties and state land that is okay "as long as you don't get caught".  No thanks on that...

If anyone finds a place be sure to post it in there.

You can get a permit for some beaches but I'm not sure which ones.  I am going there this weekend and I will get all the info on the available beaches and let you guys know.

I just went to the DEC's website and it does not look good for ATVs or buggies in New York.  They have banned us from the state park trails.  I don't understand how the sleds can have all these tralis be we can not ride on them in the summer time.

NY is the worst for that. They require you register your machine though, if you go off private land. What is the sense of getting registered and insured if you can't hit the state trails? When are they going to take all this money that people pay to be registered and open up some trails? Right now the only good thing about paying to be registered is that you can use the trails in other states like PA.
