Hello, Sonic Nexus users! We've decided that it is ultimately the time for another email, so here is an update from your Northern buddy, Inferno Necrosis.
We've got a lot of exciting stuff to tell you guys about. First and foremost, we're interviewing bands now, and we've got a main site to go with the board: www.freewebs.com/florakorkis
We know that these "freepowerboards" and "freewebs" addresses are of no good to you, which is why we plan on getting a domain name within the coming weeks. Ads will also be removed to ensure a better-looking, faster board.
I, Inferno Necrosis, already have some interviews with bands requested to me. The first is a planned one with High Klass, a funk/techno group. While they do not fit within our musical bracket (within any of the forums), they are a band within my city and they are very unique. The second will most likely happen, but we're not 100% sure on the actual date of the interview. Remember, these are live interviews, not online. Here's the 2nd band, AKA Uhlan, a good Canadian Indie act: http://www.uhlan.ca/
Because we cannot get to all local/underground acts without making things impersonal via the use of email, we've decided we're going to "hire" some writers. Basically, if you're a good writer, all you need to do to apply and join the writing team here at SN is to interview a local/underground band ONE-ON-ONE, which would be preferred, or via the use of emailing. Keep it intelligent and we may want you on board.
If you can also get another writer an interview with a band local to them, that'd be great.
Also, for all mods.... if you wish to have some info added on you apart from the mod list made on the main site, please fill out this form about you. Here's an example of the way Melancholia filled it.
