As you may know, we have a virtual shop game on the website. Request albums/items and ideas for new shops here. All requested albums will be added as long as they fit one of the genres. Mention some details about the album/item. Usually a sentence or 2 will suffice. Provide the image here, and if it's an album, provide the artist.

We're in need of some BM.  Here goes:

Satyricon- Dark Medieval Times

Raw, icy black metal with a medieval flair.  Satyricon is one of the more well-known (at least among metalheads) second-wave BM bands.  Songs like "Walk the Path of Sorrow" and "Dark Medieval Times" showcase Satyricon's unique style of metal, which they have appropriately dubbed "medieval metal."  The usual guitars, bass, and drums are joined by instruments such as flutes, which add to the variety and make for some interesting music.  It adds some nice atmosphere as well.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mayhem- De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas
Mayhem is perhaps the most well-known BM band outside of metal circles, no doubt due to the infamy surrounding Varg, Euronymous, and Dead, not to mention their early live performances.  The guitar tone in DMDS is the perfect fit for the genre- frozen and harsh.  Attila's vocals add a haunting quality to the album.  DMDS contains some of Mayhem's best-known work: "Funeral Fog," "Freezing Moon," "Pagan Fears," etc.  One of the first things mentioned when it comes to second-wave BM.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Mercyful Fate- Don't Break the Oath

Quite an interesting piece of work.  Dark and atmospheric, this album ranks as one of the best BM albums ever in many metalheads' opinions.  King Diamond, quite possibly the most instantly recognizable BM vocalist there is, conjures up visions of Satan and the occult with his inhuman falsetto shrieks and his demonic growls.  The lyrics are obsessed with Satan, and the awesome vocal delivery renders them easily understandable with little training.  The musicians are no slouches, either: the dueling guitars found in bands such as Iron Maiden and Judas Priest create solo after solo and riff after mighty riff, and few to none of them aren't good.  Along with Welcome to Hell, this is the definitive first-wave BM album.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That's all for now.
Alrighty then, I'll put them up in a few minutes and edit this post to put the pics and info etc etc of those albums.
Megadeth - Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?
Megadeth's second full length, widely considered to be a thrash classic. Mustaine and Poland's fluid yet relentless guitar work sets this album apart from the other thrash albums released in 1986. Mustaine, who is also normally considered to be an awful vocalist, is at the top of his game in this album, and he has written some of his best lyrics in this album. With songs like Wake Up Dead, The Conjuring, and Good Mourning/Black Friday, this album is a must have for any metal fan.
Megadeth - Rust In Peace
Released in 1990, this album is considered to be Megadeth's strongest effort. Lauded for complicated compositions like Holy Wars and Hangar 18, this album is universally adored for a reason.
