Not strictly punk, but awesome, awesome, awesome band. Disliking them is about the same as disliking rock as a whole. They combine 50s rock and roll/rockabilly with surf rock and some punk, along with a healthy dose of perversion, B-horror schlock and general insanity. Check em out:

I heard one of their songs on Last fm radio. I liked the song I heard. It was pretty good.

I'd recommend checking out the album Songs the Lord Taught Us for a good intro to 'em, or Psychedelic Jungle. That seems to be the consensus with their fans, too; those two and the compilation Off the Bone.

Psychedelic jungle is great - I´ve got in on vinyl. But their best album, in my opinion, is "Fiends of Dope Island". I really love that record.

I'll try and look into it. I have a lot of albums I want to get right now though.

I tried it, it's decent but not as catchy or fun as their old stuff. I have a soft spot for the first few songs and "Elvis Fucking Christ," but overall it's too long and uninspired.
