15. Revelation 2:2
“I know your works, your labour, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars;

Colossians 3:23-24
And whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for you serve the Lord Christ.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise you. Titus 2:11-15

HEY, those aren't Proverbs..!?!?!?!? :P

Proverbs 19
3 A man's own folly ruins his life,
yet his heart rages against the LORD.

9 A false witness will not go unpunished,
and he who pours out lies will perish.

LOL! :laugh: How cute! :hug2: Proverbs (the word, not the book of) are wise sayings or precepts that express fundamental truths, (in this case fundamental truths for Christians) so there are verses throughout the Bible that fall into that category so that's why I didn't limit this thread to the book of Proverbs only.

Proverbs 18:21
A man that has friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.

Proverbs 4:14-16
Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.
Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away.
For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away,
unless they cause some to fall.
