I'm sure that you guys remember ol Crazy Cooter from the show?
Well the family and I visited his place he used to have in Sperryville Virginia until he moved it to Gatlenburg Tennessee a couple of years ago any way he had one of the actual surviving General Lee's from the show on display and as a hard core Dukes fan I had to have a picture of me taken with the General
Pictured left to right my sister Faith holding my son Nicholas My oldest son Allen then me holding my youngest son Sebastian.
I think Patches took this picture and Mrs. Outsider was in the car resting if memory serves me correctly.
We got to meet and talk with Ben Jones[Cooter] and I got an autographed picture of him and Flash which is bellow

That is great "Outsider", wished I could have seen that too. Guess I'll have to go to Tennessee now...
I did get to see one of the General Lees and one of the Hazzard Sheriff cars as well as the Mayberry Sheriff's car at the mall in Burlington back in high school in the early 80's that was so cool. _________________

Yeah me to.
I tell ya both he and his wife are very nice and they act like down home folk as well so it feels just like you belong there.
The first time my family and I went to his old Sperryville location there were very few there and we hung out with him for the longest time talking about the show and what the others were doing now.
John Schnieder at one time had a web site and you could order a General Lee from him for a meager cost of $40,000
If I had $40,000 I would own me an original "Bo Duke" General Lee _________________

Yeah I heard about that, man that would be sweeet!
You know all you need is a '69 Charger and some orange paint, I found a web site where you can get the "Battle Flag", "General Lee" & "01" decals the same company that made them for the TV Show and Movie.
You know I was going to borrow the Gen Lee idea but with a difference, I was going to paint up a '67 Mustang Confederate Gray and put the flag on top and name it the General Jackson and put "02" on the side. I still might do it some day... _________________

You know, not to ruin your idea but somebody took a 69 charger painted it purple put the stars and stripes on top the #10 on the doors and named it the General Grant
Otherwise it looked just like General Lee
I did a delivery in Massachusits once ane there was a 68 Charger sitting behind a barn that was painted to look like the General Lee I tried like hell to get that lady to sell it but her son built it and there was no way she was coming off of it for ANY price.
Not that I blamed her I would not have let it go either.
Considering I later found out that her son that buuilt it had died in Panama serving in the Army

Yup,
You heard me right the General Grant.
As I said painted purple and instead of 01 on the doors had 10 and replaced the battle flag with the stars and stripes.
I had a picture of it at one time but danged if I know where it is now.
BTW sorry it took so long to get back to you but I must have not gotten the notification a reply had been made _________________
