Great monuments and photos!
Here's one in front of our South Carolina Statehouse to Wade Hampton - a man who was the richest planter in all of America before the War. He spent it all outiftting and equipping Southron soldiers and lost everything. He was a daring calvary leader and never lost a single battle while in command of the Confederate calvary. After the War, he and his supporters formed the "Redshirts" and ran the carpetbaggers and occupying yankee soldiers out of our State. A great man! WADE HAMPTON

Here is a momument to a true Southron giant - John C. Calhoun. He was an early Southern nationalist who pushed States' rights for decades, urging our people to leave their foul union while we still had a chance. He dontated the land that Clemson University now sits on to the State to build an agricultural college there. This statue stands in downtown Charleston. Rember John C. Calhoun!

Love to see the new statehouse...wish you could see those stars on the side of it where Sherman's cannons hit it...that is the one thing that would make the pic. better.

Let that be a warning to all that if you push your luck here and keep pushing you WILL get the axe.
Now as American's we belive in the right to freedom of speech however we WILL NOT tolorate distrspect of our southern heritage.
Billy Yank was given plenty of leeway in his time here however he just kept aggitating and pushing his luck.
This is a Southern forum founded with our traditions in mind if you can't respect that STAY away it is that simple.
