There are a lot of fine folks in the LoS. I know because I work with them on a regular basis. Good Southron folks. Considering supporting the independence of your country by joining the LoS. _________________

Wait! If Maryland is to be included that would mean the Mason/ Dixon lines will need to be re drawn.
Fine by me I just hope we don't see another Uncivil war in our future.If so I'll have to call a buddy of mine that has a stockpile of weapons and ammo
This same friend hapens to have a toothpick martini drink flag with the stars and bars on it that came from a KKK banquet back in the 1920's

Actually from what I remember form history "O.S." the Washington D.C. & Maryland are both South of the Mason~Dixon and Maryland had regiments in the Confederate Army. The only reason she never formally seceded with her other Southern neighbors is because Lincoln sent troops in to occupy her until the end of the war _________________

Oh, I was not going on historacle lines I drew that conclusion from the sign in Maryland that I used to pass on my way home from the northeast
Comming down I-81 out of PA there is a 12 mile stretch of Maryland and about the 9 Mile marker there is a sign that says Mason/dixon line Maybe someone was messing with my brain without my permission.
Yet another liberal conspiracy lol _________________

Ok here you go "O.S.", this is what I found on a quick search;
The Mason–Dixon Line (or "Mason and Dixon's Line") is a demarcation line between four U.S. states, forming part of the borders of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and West Virginia (then part of Virginia). It was surveyed between 1763 and 1767 by Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon in the resolution of a border dispute between British colonies in Colonial America. Popular speech, especially since the Missouri compromise of 1820 (apparently the first official usage of the term "Mason's and Dixon's Line"), uses the Mason-Dixon line symbolically as a cultural boundary between the Northern United States and the Southern United States (Dixie).[citation needed]
Maryland and Pennsylvania both claimed the land between the 39th and 40th parallels according to the charters granted to each colony. The 'Three Lower Counties' (Delaware) along Delaware Bay moved into the Penn sphere of settlement, and later became the Delaware Colony, a satellite of Pennsylvania.

Well that chart lines up with what was in my head. comming down I-81 out of PA there is a 12 mile stratech of Maryland then about a 30 mile stretch of WV before entering VA the line on the chart is how I remember it to be.
Great work on finding that. _________________
