How Shall I Serve Him
I do not have the speaker's voice to shout
aloud His praise.
Yet I desire to serve Him through all my
joy-filled days.
I do not have the artist's hands to mold
and make anew
Yet my eager heart cries, "God, what can
I do?"
I do not have the shepherd's feet to win
another soul
Yet I truly yearn to bring them to His
fold.
For I am meek and lowly, dependent on
my Guide
And by His grace I will bring another to
His side.
For I may do the smaller, the low and
humble task.
Just to pray and sing and serve is all
that I can ask.
