I love these two too, any normal parent should.... Thank you "Patches" ma'am.

KIND

I have wept in the night for the shortness of sight. That to somebody's need made be blind. But I never have yet felt a twinge of regret for being a little too kind.

The holiest moment of the church service is the
moment when God's people go out of the church
door and into the world to be the church.

Partial Education

The great danger in education today is the fact
that we have failed to see the difference between
knowledge and wisdom.
We train the head and let the heart
run wild.
We allow culture and character to walk miles apart,
stuffing the head with mathematics and languages ---
leaving manners and morals out of the picture.

You Will Never Be Sorry

For thinking before acting,
For hearing before judging,
For forgiving your enemies,
For being candid and frank,
For helping a fallen brother,
For being honest in business,
For thinking before speaking,
For being loyal to your church,
For standing by your principals,
For stopping your ears to gossip,
For bridling a slanderous tongue,
For harboring only pure thoughts,
For sympathizing with the afflicted,
For being courteous and kind to all.

Hugging

Hugging is healthy: It helps our body's immune
system, it keeps you healthier, it cures depression,
it is invigorating, it is rejuvenating, it has no unpleasant
side effects, and hugging is nothing less than a miracle
drug.
Hugging is all natural: It is organic, naturally sweet,
no pesticides, no preservatives, no artificial ingredients,
and 100 percent wholesome.
Hugging is practically perfect: There are no moveable
parts, no battries to wear out, no periodic checkups, low
energy consumption, high energy yield, inflation proof,
non-fattening, no monthy payments, no insurance
requirements, theft - proof, non - taxable, non - polluting
and, of course, fully returable.

ONE NATION UNDER GOD

Historical revisionists have tried to deny or obscure the fact that our nation was founded upon Christian principles and a belief in God. The following are some quotations from our forefathers.

"In the name of God, Amen. Having undertaken for the Glory of God and advancement of the Christian faith ... do... solemnly and mutually in the presence of God covenant and combine ourselves together" 1620 - The Mayflower Compact.

"Whereas we all come into these part of America with one and the same end and aim, namely to advance the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ and to enjoy the liberties of the gospel in purity with peace..." 1643 - Constitution of the New England Confederation.

"If you are not governed by God, you will be ruled by tyrants."
                                                           William Penn.

"...The laws of nature and of nature's God..." ...that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights..." "...appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions..." "...with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence...."  1776 - The Declaration of Independence.

"Here is my creed. I believe in one God, the creator of the universe. That he governs it by His providence. That He ought to be worshiped"
1787 - Benjamin Franklin. In the Constitutional Convention:
"I have lived, sire, a long time, and the longer I live the more convincing proofs I see of this truth... that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow connot fall to the ground without His notice, is it possible that an empire can rise without this aid?
