All of the Wal-Marts across Tennessee sold out of ammunition yesterday.
A reliable source said that one of the purchasers commented that
Russia may have invaded Georgia, they sure as hell ain't doin' it
to Tennessee!

You know,
Yankees poke fun at our lifestyle and our strong position to keep and bear arms.
Seems to me if anyone ever decides to "invade" our country
it will be the "good ol' boys" who are 1st to return fire
While all the PC idiots and gun control advocates are standing there thinking WTF do we do now??
Sure many would die fighting highly trained military personell but who amongst us would think it a folly to give our lives fighting an invading force of terrorist, communists or whatever?
Many will think my comments foolish but
the southerners in this country are known for their stiff necked approach
to pollitics and invasion of our rights as Americans.
I just don't see many Americans southern or not just laying down like cowards in the face of such tyranny.
If the story above has ANY truth to it I think it is funny as hell
and it only proves my point LOL

sadly, I see it not just as a possibility, but as the probable course of action for most; yankees and many "southerners" alike.

You could be right my friend.
Who knows how the populace would react?
I'd like to think most would fight but we can't say for sure how bad people would want to protect and even die for all we take for granted.
Lets hope we never have to find out
