Hey All,
It is not in the nature of a Southron to apologize for anything....... however, since I am but a copperhead, and since unfortunately too many real Southren folk see me as yankee (based or origins of my place of birth, I will apologise willingly, for not using this fine forum to it's fullest potential.
There have been too many hard hours of work put into its creation and maintence for any of us not to make aknowledgement of that fact.
So let me go on record at this time saying........... thanks to the man in charge.......
The only excuse I have ( and I am not all that much into excuses) is that between workin' 2 jobs, playin music at night, and trying to refurbish the Confederate Memorial here at Mole Church...I have become very laxadasical in postin' anywhere.
Having said that I would like to announce With much pride and fervour,
after having the flag poles pulled over by person or persons unknown, as well as having the memorial deficated on, the near 400 lb concrete bench overturned and busted, as well as having huge amts of Roundup or some other weedkiller sprayed on the memorial area.........new flags are flying upon 2 1/2 inch oilfield casing wrapped in fiberglass cloth, memorial stone is sparkelin' clean, the lawn is re sodded in parts and re seeded in other. evergreens repalnte with addition ones added, mums planted in the ground, 2 neew securiy lights on dusk to dawn one motion sensor acticvated...... and 100 feet of fence has been installed around the entire Memorial area. and the bench has been repaired and improved.
So all in all its business as usual here far behind enemy lines at Mole Church. And in closing I would like to thank the 13 individuals who wish to remain annomous yet they made this all possible by their financial contributions, be they tiny or not so tiny. We have 3 more flag poles reay to go up making it a total of 6 flag poles,,,,, and you have my word they will go up..........
I have pics of the refurbished memorial area (taken by the editor of our local paper) that I have sent out to be made public to the world. When they are posted on the World Wide Web, I will make that addy available.
In closing let me go on record to say, that although small by most Confederate Memorials, ours is to the best of our knowledge the only one in illannoy that the flags of the Confederacy flies over 24/7 365 days a year.................maybe that is why we are attacked so often

You are to be commended for your efforts and for taking the time to come on here this day and expain, when NO explanation is needed. Johnnyreb Sir,
On behalf of my family I thank y'all for your most kind words and for understandin' in regards to my abscence from this forum. I thank you certainly for the prayers, and be advised it is flooding up here again. We have had somwhere between 5 tp 7 inches in the past 48 hrs or so, depending on which part of the county one lives. The levees have not even been touched since the flood this spring, and with nawthern illannoy getting upwards of 9 inches of rain the past 2 days and the run off is headed this way. We dont need Chicago's waste, but its headed this way for sure. Flood warnings have been issued, again..........we here at our home are fine once again, and we shall remain that way as long as the levee nawth of us holds..... This is nothing however compared to what our Brothers and Sister went through down South. In fact, I shouldnt even conplain about being rained out at the farm.
Well I am once again rambelin.
