Greetings Ya'll,
Just wanted to let you know the host is now having problems with emails being sent for topic reply notifications PM notices etc.
This is NOT specific to TSC it is a problem through out every forum hosted by FreePowerBoards.
If you depend on these please be patient the host has been notified about the problem.
Reb please contact me via owcp if you need me.
I've not been able to log in here for DAYS.
Just thought you should know bud

FPB needs to get their ducks in a row here.
I too have not been able to log in for a while and when I do the board runs so dag gone slow It takes for ever for me to get some posting done. My computer is old and runs slow anyway but when I go on a fpb site, o' my goodness it's bad.

Finally after days of not being able to see a code I am able to get on, only to find that our new host is sneaking adds in the middle of our post. Have you noticed???

What Patches is talking about in case you can't see the new old ads is the host has placed a 3rd ad option to the forum, possibly trying to recover lost funds from their purchase of FreePowerBoards 
Now on top og the banner ads AND the pop up ads we now have a wonderful 3rd option that places ads inline with keywords in your posts made on the forum.
If your browser don't show them like firefox, below is a screen capture of what I'm talking about
Note the dark red colored text,
When you hover over that selected text you get a pop-up
that looks like this
This is NOTHING more than the host trying to trick you into clicking on an ad that will generate income for them and line their pockets 
Betw4een you and me I don't click on ANY ads to help a host which cares nothing for it's clients!!

I've never had those problems with ads because I went un "Profile" and went to;
Advert Position:
You can choose what type of advertisements are on the forums.
and click on,
Banner Pop-under Both

OK y'all enough is enough, now that the hilodays are pretty much over I am going to start looking hard into another server FPB was great in it's time but they got away from the great service they used to provide. "Patches" made a suggestion where I could find one and I will be checking on it's viability and ability to help us. So God Bless all y'all that stood by us during this difficult time, thank you...

Well, progress report for anyone still able to sign in, I have still not found a new host. I've been working on it but its been difficult. But I refuse to let "The Southern Cause" die, particularly in the light of this last election cycle we Southerners need all the friends we can get. So I will continue to try and keep this site alive until I can find a new host that wont hamstring me. Thank y'all for your patience and loyalty
