Tell the other members a little about yourself.
Well I suppose I'll start, I am a former Military Policeman, I have a wonderful, beautiful wife and two handsome sons William is 2yrs 4mos and Robert is a month old and both are perfect, in every way.
I've made a lifelong study of the War of Northern Aggression and have made it my mission to educate misguided and confused Southerners about their TRUE Southern heritage, not the revisionist drivel put out by those people north of the Mason-Dixon & on the"left" coast.
I am from "The Old North State" around Burlington
I enjoy out door sports, hunting, history {War of Northern Aggression}, target shooting.

Hello:
I am PATCHES
I am 59 years young  a mother of two.
A fine young man of 32 who is married and
he and his wife have 6 yes 6 children. 4 boys and 2 girls,
ranging in ages of 10 - 10 months.
One fine young woman age 24, unmarried and lives at home.
I am a housewife to a over the road truck driver, that stays
on the road delivering your food - ice cream. YUMMMM

I'm a long time friend of JohnnyReb and the son of Patches[the one with 6 kids  ]
I will be checking in here frequently and helping JR build this place as best I can.
I really like the whole idea of what the purpose of this forum is so you can bet I'll be around.

Hi Patches[MOM] I've not done much today really but feel the place out and get comfortable with the feel I hope tomorrow to be able to get some research time in and start contributing to both this forum and the Military Police forum as well.
We'll see how it goes.
The first order of business is to get plenty for new members to read and sink their teeth into the last forum people will join is one that is dull and not much going on so I vote we that are here now commit to laying the foundation which Reb has done great with thus far but he can't do everything right by himself. I've tried that it don't work.
When he is ready then we can really turn the valves and start trying to get others on board.
Whata ya say Reb?

Hey y'all, I am so grateful to have y'all here "The Mother & Son Team" you both have been great friends to me and I appreciate it. As far as MP Forum, it is still there but I am afraid all but dead. I've done all I can to get it up but as I PM'd you on OW/CP "Outsider" the MP Forum was a good idea gone bad.
But "The South Has Risen Again!" and I have a good feeling about this one, "The Southern Cause". This site has something for everyone, much like OW/CP but with a slight difference my sole purpose with this is to bring together Southerners for fellowship, learning & fun. To aid any Southerner who may be confused about "The War Of Northern Aggression" and our ancestors role in that war, help them understand how honorable our intentions were and are in regard to our rights as Southerners, Americans and children of God.

I go by gray_rider and I work in the People's Republic of Chapel Hill with JohnnyReb. It's a good place to work but most of the people here have lost touch with reality.
I was born and raised in Alamance County. I am not ashamed to admit I went north of the Mason-Dixon line to get my wife. I will tell you right now her heart is more Southern than allot of people who were born here. She has given me two beautiful daughters.
We are still researching my ancestory, but have confirmed two great-great-uncles who fought with Co. H, 15th NC Infantry. Another fought with the 13th NC before transferring to the C.S.S. Virginia.
