HEY YA'LL I just wanted to step in and let you all know that we are still here. I know things have been really slow here lately and there are some good reason's for it I am afraid. You see back on the 27th of March I fel down a flight of stairs in the process of helping Outsider and his family move into a much larger home and broke my arm in two places. The brake was so bad that I had to have surgery to repair it. I will not go into details unless asked, it happened and was no one's falt, just an accident. At my age recovery has been long and painful with therapy I am slowly becoming able to use my hand again. Then with Reb in a new position on his job and the birth of his twin daughters he is extremly busy. I am saying all this to let you know that we are here and would love to see you guys and gals back with us and posting to keep this site up and running. Please do not stop just because we are not here as often as we once were. I try to get here every day if to do nothing but read and answer any question's you may have.
Also I would really love to see new members that are really interested in keeping our southern hertage alive. The South is a great place to live and this is a great site to share with us. Maybe you have some great stories you would like to share from you southern relatives about their lives here in the south. How they came to live here and where their ancestors came from.
Any way we are here if you care to come on back and share some news with us.

Sorry folks for being away so long, but have been having problems with my arm and now the doctor is going to do surgery on it again the 14th of September. He feels that if he removes the hardware it will help the healing and hopefully stop some of the pain and stiffness that I am still having after six months of the healing process. I am also looking for a cheaper house since my husband and I are now living on Social Security we can no longer afford the place we are in now. So that means moving and being off the computer for a while. Please do not let our being away stop you from posting valuable information concering our beloved South. I will still stop by to keep a check and answer any question's you may have. God Bless you all and I'll be seeing you. Wink

Sorry to here this Patches. I will keep you in my prayers and hope for a full recovery. Ive been having computer problems for awhile and hope i have it fixed for now. I'll try and visit more often.
I'll be going for a heart cath monday morning and hope to be fellin better when its over.

Wow this is the first time I've been on in a while and apologize sincerely for that but family, work and financial situations which I positive all of you have or are experiencing have kept me away, but during my absence I have still been trying to find another host for "The Southern Cause" that will work with me not against me.
