Just wanted to let you all know I loved the new ferrier... He left Suzie's back shoes a little long in the rear.. Said it would give her more stability and also help with the stifle... He was very gentle as she was stiff in the hind legs... He had patience with her as she took a few seconds to get her leg up in the right spot for him.... He said she has very strong feet.... He also did 2 other horses at the barn and I learned alot as he explained everything he was doing... Thank you again for all your advise..... Jeannine |

great
my oldest horse Scotty has bad stifles, really bad, when he gets his shoes I give him a bute the night before - my ferrier suggested it, ask yours what he thinks it really makes a world of difference in comfort for him and the ferrier
Your vet can also do an exam or x rays and come up exercise and shoeing plans for the future - a lot ferriers love the support form veterinarians some not so much - so ask firsts |
