As you all know by now, we didn't have enough excitement with moving, so we had to have our 5th surgery of the year.

Spencer broke his femur during a race and had to have a titanium rod put in his thigh.  Please keep him in your prayers....me too, I am so sick of hospitals.

Since he is the favorite ookie and one everyone likes to beat up on, it would be nice if he received some visitors!!!  We are on Parsons Rd. in Lagrange.  40499 is the address number.  phone- 355-5738.

Don't know if I will ever be back, it seems like I've forgotten everything and right now my family needs me...though I hope to get back to it some time.  I sure miss you all....you've been like a family to me.

Thanks,
Lisa

I'm glad that he's doing alright. I'll try and find some time to come see him...now that he's only 10-15 minutes away it should be easier. When he feels up to it he's welcome to come and join class and work techniques from a sitting position. Believe it or not that is a specialization of Hapkido...he'll be the first one in class to try it, so he can work out the kinks for us if he likes!

We'll keep him in our prayers and hope to see him soon. It's sad to have to find a new grappling partner!

the latest in our never ending saga....Spencer is now running a fever.  He looks terrible...like a ghost with dark circles under his eyes.  Of course fever is one of the things they put on the discharge papers to call immediately about.  I am waiting for the Dr. to call me back.  Hopefully it is something viral and not a complication from the surgery.  His incisions (all 5 of them) look good.  Who knows maybe he has mono, he did drink after Mark before he found out he had it.  I'll try to let you know what the Dr.s says.

Lisa,

How is Spencer doing?  Just as importantly, how are you doing?  I heard you have extra house guests.  Is there anything you need or I could help with?  A meal brought in perhaps?

I'm thinking of you and your family.  Please let me know if I can do anything at all.  Maybe help unpack?
