Rumour has it Cannon's team are going for the title this season. Thier team is likely to be: 1 Stabler, 2 Kimpton, 3 Ted Jeal, 4 Dave Leach, 5 Pete Wilmor.
Kimpton (the weak link) is rumoured to be on a diet in a bid to improve the dismal form of last season. |

Gosh - if I had known you could run a squad of only five players per team, we could have had 2.
The only club that manages to do that is Langley, who can have the same guy or gal playing for two teams on the same night on adjacent courts (unless they happen to be playing another Langley team - of course). Come to think of it, Dave Harris could play 2 for the first team and 1 for the second team when they meet each other.
Am I getting off message yet, ML? |

Obviously this isn't their only 5 players, I'm stating this will be their strongest side on paper. I believe their other stand in's will be Stuart Titheridge and a couple of other blokes.
Am I going off topic PB? |

Presumably so that he can play twice in one night!
No wonder you didn't sign in for that one Mr 'Guest'. |

Why was he down at Biggin Hill, he players for Cannons surely? They certainly don't need any more players in their team(s).
A few bits of silverware and everyone goes glory hunting!!! |

Dear friends, what an honour to have a thread dedicated to me! is this a first? After a summer of loving some of the most beautiful and somewhat not so beautiful ladies in the bromley and beckenham area, a baron spell is threatening to rear its ugly head again. This in turn has paved the way for what has become one of the most gruelling training regimes known to man. The kimpton is now fast, furious and to any ladies reading slim and ever so dashing though still in need of that elusive drop shot. I would like to take this moment to send out a warning to all the other number 2s in the league that ted jeal will probably be kicking my a*** very shortly and it will be him you'll have to be playing! Anyway i look forward to seeing you all in the up coming season either at 2 or 3 and ill also be at bexley for the A tournament hoping to cause a few upsets!
All my love THE MIGHTY KIMPTON.
P.S. The shear thought of representing biggin hill to win silverware i find nothing short of bone chilling, and lets be honest folks i think we all know the silverware is heading to cannons this winter! |

A truly wonderful bite Mr. Kimpton, and a lovely incite into your world. I honestly didn't think you were training that hard, then again I've heard about a few cycle rides and some court sprints with Dave Leach.
I think Cannons are going to find it tough this season so if you do fancy joining the Champs, you know where to come.
See you in the tournament.. |

what a catch he would be for biggun's 2nd team, they need more depth at 4 and 5 Kimpton would be ideal, if he could force his way in!!!!
ps when do the entries come out for the 'A' tournament................. |
