· Quote

Let me try to settle the Amida debate once and for all.

The rules state that there will be 2 up, 2 down. Therefore, as Park Langley II and Bromley L.T.C. I finished first and second respectively in division 2 last season, they are entitled to be promoted.

I have asked these teams if division 1 is what they want and they have both said yes.

If there had been room for Amida in the top division, then they probably would have been accommodated, but there isn't Sad

I'd like to point out that, potentially, the squad they had when called Fitness Exchange, was possibly just as strong as the one they have now and they finished bottom. Exclamation

I'm told that Jamie Wilde will now be playing for Amida. Before anyone says he's too good for division 2, well, he was quite happy playing in this division last year for Old Dunstonians.

There you have it, debate concluded. Yeah right. Rolling Eyes

Div 2 will be great and more than happy playing there.  Just wanted it decided by the official committee for the right reasons, rather than Fitness Exchange losing last winter season or Amida losing in the summer.

Looking forward to playing the chaps in Div 2 shortly and sure it'll will be good squash and banter.

Glad to have you, 234; if selected for Div 2 ourselves.

However, priorities are different in Div 2., especially for us pensioners.  Food (including pud) and ale more important that the other two.

I draw the line at Magners.  It's a fad and our budget doesn't stretch to such overpriced luxuries.

Sorry, Admin; off post again  Embarassed

IF EITHER PARK LANGLEY II OR BROMLEY L.T.C. I DO NOT WANT TO GO INTO DIVISION 1, AS DIVISION 4 "GUEST" (FOR A CHANGE) CLAIMS, THEN WILL THEY PLEASE TELL ME BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE AND NOT UNDER AN ALIAS. Mad

WHAT PART OF MY EXPLANATION DID PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND? Confused

I need you don't I. How can I ever wear pink again?

Just because of your cup draw. I've just put it onto the site. Don't blame me. The other two were the ones drawing my balls out of the hat.

Hmmmm I am backing Lee to win now that D. Partridge has withdrawn

Think you should do a squash dosh type comp now that the draw is out

Entry could be on the day of the comp before the first round.  It could give JJ a chance to win his dosh back.

Off message again, boys.  A Davies (Div 1 player) will walk the B comp.  Is DP saving himself for the real business?  Or is he feeling guilty now that he is a Div 2 (Winter) man?

There is no Amida problem, Gary.
