John Brewer V's Stacey Ross- 1:3 - 9/3 7/9 5/9 0/9 Good match JB just ran out of steam in the end,
Neil Baker V's Lee Drew - 0:3 - didn't see this game at all so dont have any scores
Malcolm Parker V's Obaid Kahn - 1:3 - 9/3 1/9 1/9 1/9 Malcolm started well but was just nowhere near fit enough.
Tom Woods V's Iain Higgins - 0:3 - 5/9 2/9 3/9 I hated every second of this game, didn't play very well and Iain took full advantage, he then even beat me in the bar too drinking more Stella than the rest put together.
Dave Rannard V's Gordon McManus 3:2 - don't know the scores but it was a tight game with both players having the same type of game, slow lobs and dead weight drops, mixed in with some great retrieving. First person to attack a little would win, and that was Dave in the fifth.
Overall a really good night, we picked up a few points but overall were never going to get much more against a team of that strength.
Looks like it's a race for 3rd place with Bexley and Bromley CC for us. |
