I agree, what a great job done by Gary Barrett. Without the chasing and promoting it wouldn't have been half the tournament it was.
Well done to all that turned up, not one cancellation has to be a massive triumph in itself.
For all those still in the comp tomorrow, best of luck! |

I second that. How good is it to see squash getting back to winning ways. |

Not a camera as such but I've managed to get some good shots on my picture phone. As soon as I've transfered them, they'll be on the site - should be tomorrow morning.
I'm sure Gary Barrett will be summing up the tournament but I thought I'd add what a great event it all was. |

Very sorry but, for the moment, please be patient with regards the total results service.
My good lady helper (querida mia) and I have just been out for a pleasant Chinese meal with 2 bottles of Australian Shiraz to wind down after a great weekend of competitive squash played in an absolutely fantastic spirit, something which I forgot to say during my amateur presentation speech.
We have enjoyed it immensely and a lot of that has been down to you, the competitors, the staff at Biggin hill, especially Kim and anyone else involved.
Thank you to everybody and let's look forward to the next one. |

Can I add my thanks to everyone involved in organising, running and competing in the tournament this weekend, it was was a huge success.
It was well run, well attended and a pleasure to play in. Everyone played in the right spirit and it was great to see that socialising was also very much on the agenda (The Cobdown boys just failed in emptying the Ruddles barrel on the saturday!).
Great day on Saturday and 2 worthy winners on Sunday in Lee and Cath.
Probably like several people taking part I'm suffering today and stairs are a bit of an issue. However the wife says that if I get this stiff playing tournaments I should play more often (at least I thinks thats what she said before I fell asleep mid sentence!)
Hopefully see many of you at the tourny in October |

Couldn't have put it better myself, and I'm aching like hell.
Alan in the final seemed to have legs of lead but not really suprising after all that work. Also, it doesn't help when you have to stop and start so much.
Lee was quite a whippet and had some very good shots too, I don't think it'll take too long before one or two of the more lofty clubs make a swoop for him. |

I wasn't there for too long. Stells didn't turn up, did you know that their white wine was Frascati and not Pinot Grigio, Stells?
The squash I did see was good, competitive and very friendly.
Hopefully it will the same at Bexley. Will you be there for that one Stells? |
