Rumour has it, Mr. Gotts was very poor, shouldn't have been seeded 1. |

Stewart Gotts lost 3-2 to an in-form Alan Briscoe and agreed he'd lost to the better player on the day.
Craig Hulbert lost to Graham Ray 14-12 in the fifth. Could have gone either way.
The four seedings were based on summer Priory records.
Stewart beat Lee Greenwood 3-0 in division 3.
Craig Hulbert had an impressive season in division 3.
Both Alan Briscoe and Graham Ray had very impressive statistics, but they played in division 5. Extremely difficult doing the seedings.
Hope to see a big turnout today. |

It doesn't make any difference on the seedings, from what I saw, the best players are through to the semi finals. I can't believe Alan Briscoe and Graham Ray were both playing in division 5 in the summer. Guys like that should also be going in for this 'A' tournament.
I thought the plate was well fought out too, be very interesting to see what happens today. See you there. |

looking at the teams in div 5 for the winter, it looks like they will be playiing in div 5 again, unless they have changed teams! All four qrt finals seemed to be great games. |

I'd like to think that everyone who took part in what would be called an inaugural event, enjoyed the weekend.
The Tournament to be held at Bexley on October 7 and 8, is now simply called the Priory Individual Tournament.
The reason being, so many of the participants in the "B" Competition asked if they could enter what was known as the "A" Competition.
We couldn't see any reason why they shouldn't be allowed to. Therefore it has acquired its new title.
Any further details required, contact me by phone or email. |
