Only 7 teams this year which is disappointing, shame no other teams have taken the opportunity to gain experience in Div1.
Also PC, is there anything reason why Bexley 2 are playing 1 less game than all the others? surely they would need extra games to help them gain points
What is the format for div 1, are all the teams going to play each other 3 times because at the moment it's not clear |

I think the only thing that's not clear Old Man is the quantity of drink consumed just prior to these fixtures being added in! The paper list is pretty straightfoward. It just looks like they've started again for the third half of the season and then got bored after a couple of games!
The dates are all over the place. Please don't anyone take these as gospel. They are wrong.
As for other teams, Mote tried to put a team in but because Canon had been on hols when the deadline passed they were (somewhat surprisingly in my view) told to sling their hook. Bit of a pity given the fiasco with Amida (D.Lloyd or whoever they are now). |

I agree OM, very disappointing turnout this summer in Div1. I don't think the winter is going to be much better either. Are Bexley going to try and keep 2 div1 teams in the winter?
What fiasco is that CL? I can't see an Amida team in any division!
Thought they had all gone to Bexley or stopped for the summer. |

Well first off Amida are now D.Lloyd. Their normal Div 1 team has disbanded (as usual) for the summer due to the fact that they are all S.Cuppers whose S.Cup home day is Tuesday (except CD who's gone to Bexley).
So, their second team (last years Div 3 winners I believe) were originally slotted into Div 1. Unsurprisingly they were distinctly un-keen to receive a weekly thrashing and apparently said they would withdraw altogether if forced to play in Div 1.
Cue some reshuffling with them dropped back into Div 2 and one of the Div 2 teams dropped back to Div 3. |
