Blimey I was a little surprised to see some of the results from last nights matches.
Bexley getting the minimum points for a win and losing their much anticipated No.1 so early on in the game. Could this be a long term injury (we obviously hope not) and what must have been the look on Slackbadger's face when the injury news filtered through?? I certainly wouldn't want to lose my No.1 so early on.
Notable also to see Clive London having a good crack Dave Harris, I'll bet he really wanted that one, 3-2 is very respectable against our new Priory Champion. Not to mention the 19 points in PL1's pocket thank you very much.
Also Cannons' convincing win over Dulwichski, where was the superstar Tim Garner, what a difference he makes to their team. Also good to see Dave Leach back from Injury.
Anyone know what happended in the T Wells BLT game?

T.W. S.R.C. won 20-5,5-0 despite T.W. putting the score on the site as 20-4.
Yes ML, they actually put it on the site! No opponents names though and, as I said, the wrong score.
I've corrected it. I'm not redundant just yet. |

I also spotted that James Fender, who gave a very good account of himself in the tournament at the weekend beat Mr Alex Martin.
Bexley will not be worried as they have a couple of spare no.1's |

I agree, Mr. Fender looks a hot prospect but will Sparks ever get into the 1st Division for him to challenge the top boys? Let's hope so. |

Hello again all you cheeky-boys. Just got back from another brief stint of working for kids clubs in Spanish hotels. That's why I wasn't at Bexley. I know where I'd sooner have been. SPAIN
Stells, I've started to catch up with things on the forum. Who is this Stelle? I thought admin person had got rid of he/she/it.
If you want a game Stells we can fix one up. The Spanish sunshine has helped ease my injury. If any of you cheeky-boys fancy a knock let me know, but be gentle with me. |

Squashboy, looks like you've got some interest from the errr ladies!
Dave Harris v Toby mortimer hmmmm, interesting question. I think their previous track record goes in Toby's favour and with his recent form, i'm not sure many would get near him. However, Dave had a very good tournament and looked sharp so who knows?
You never know, I might be selfish and put myself against DH in a bid to get my revenge... |
