Bexley Squash Club will be hosting the 2007 Kent O"55 Squash Championships on 8, 9, 10, 11, Nov with the final on Friday 16 Nov.
All entries with details of name, address contact nos. D.O.B. and club (fee £8) to be phoned or emailed to

The results will have a bearing on the team selected for the inter county championships on 24/25 Nov.

Isn't it about time this event was held in the middle of the county to allow for equal travel for everyone?

I would think that probably the tournament organiser chooses the venue.
As it is approx 70 miles from Bromley to either Dover or Thanet then the natural centre for any such tournaments would appear to be Maidstone & Mote Squash Clubs as they are easily accessible from the motorways. It still slightly favours the London clubs by being only 30 miles from Bromley, but at least it is also only approx 40 miles from Dover and Thanet.
Another alternative would be Rodmersham which would slightly favour the teams to the south of the county. |
