· Quote

Rumor has it Amida are going to be force to be reckoned with this coming season. The team is likely to be

1 Jamie Wilde
2 Mike Harrison
3 Alex Martin
4 Simon Grey
5 Paul or Grant, or any number of others.

Anyone else got any gossip?

That's GREAT to hear!  Are they going to be in Division 2, as we were worried that, with no Langley Fatboys to contend with, we were going to be too good at Knole Park?

Is that the same Jamie Wilde who used to play for Biggin Hill?  Is it the same Toby Mortimer - thrashed by PB and others at Limpsfield - who was also a No.1 contender at BH?  Will ML now have to step up to his rightful place at the top of the two-teaming BH?

Is that the same Mike Harrison ('the diplomat') who used to play for Knole Park but left in the 90s to give away parts of the British Empire?  If so, can we have him back, please?

Oh dear, it would appear that I have made a boo boo. Mr. Jolly John you have reminded me of the fact that Amida were relegated last winter season. With this in mind I suspect you Knole Park-ites will surely not have the firepower to defeat the mighty Amida. Also KP are really a mid table Division 2 side at best based on the weaker Summer league results.

Looks like you'll have a long cold Winter season ahead.  Crying or Very sad

Ouch!  Right on my jollies!

I presume that ODs, even losing some of their County Hotshots to Amida, will be soaring back up to the top of Div 2 then?

Who was it who said, 'You're only as cold as the woman you're feeling'?

P.S.  Sorry to waste another post - but, please can you turn the heat up at ODs for our visit?  If we can get through the snowdrifts in the Lane, we need to be frost free on court, especially with all the KP pensioners in the team.
