Mote suffered a 5 - 0 defeat at the hands of Rodmersham yesterday evening. Sad
Missing their top two again, this was always going to be a difficult match.
Plucky performances from all their players weren't enough to earn them any points. All matches were played with a positive spirit and some came close to nicking the odd game but Rodmersham were just too strong at every level.

Highlight of the evening for the Mote was the Steak & Stilton pie, roast potatoes & veg created by Lardy's mum - EXCELLENT. Very Happy

Low of the evening  - No sweet Crying or Very sad

Yes a very good evening. Must admit was impressed by the commitment of the Mote players especially when missing their top two players. Player of the evening, I think, was PJ who put in a monumental effort against Lardy and never stopped until the fat lady sang!!! Well done all.
PS - Admiral/Pietro, where are you your team needs you now!!

I checked the score sheets and the suspicious looking 4 was actually a 7 so you got one more point than you thought. Very Happy
