Clive I've got to say it, I love the way you right your match reports. It makes be chuckle with the delightful quips and suptle digs - all in good spirit and well received I assure you.
Just to say keep up the good work.. |

Great report as usual CL I totally agree with you about these sad stories emanating from both DC and ML about not having enough players and well they really don't have teams with any real strength compared to anyone one else Please my heart bleeds from them both
Guess it's tough for the Hillbillies when they only have Stacy Ross and Ben Ford playing in either team Let alone the other hackers filling other positions |

OTH: "OTHER HACKERS"? how dare you sir, let us assess the subtle skills of BH personel (Ross & Ford aside):
Hitchens: never seen him play. Status - unknown
Pennals: hard hitter both forehand and backhand. Status - ummm Hacker?
Lennox: headless chicken syndrome run round so quick eventually crashes into squash ball before bouncing twice, drop shot skills flakey. Status - ummm again Hacker?
Newberry: similar to above without the subtle skills. Status (sod it) Hacker?
McManus: Can play drop shot, but that's it, unable to move. Status (hooray) not hacker, just useless.
Mortimer: Similar to Pennals. Status - Hacker?
Mayle: Needs to wear larger shorts syndrome, definitely restricting his movement, no drop shots and blows hot/cold. Status - Hacker wannabe?
Martin: End the rally as fast as possible syndrome, energy reserver. Status - (hooray) definitely not Hacker.
Lane: What can I say? Status - uuummmmm Hacker
Bushell: The delicate touch, not hard hitter, can play dropshot. Status - (hooray) not Hacker.
Miles: Not seem him play but from what heard. Status - Hacker?
Ok OTH you're right! just be prepared for a lawsuit from Messrs Martin, McManus & Bushell |

Thanks for those few kind words ML. You ought to say something similar to your man DC. His reports were excellent. Sadly now defunct (he feels unloved & unread apparently). I keep having a dig, but no joy so far.
At least he went out on a high note though. The SAS stormtrooper from PL was an absolute classic ... |

BLTN50 what a wonderful synopsis of us all. I can certainly vouch for Laney being a hacker after our lunchtime match today.
I think Deano the legend writer has also given up the ghost |
