T'was one week on the making. Medyo gahol kami sa oras minadali namin
yun. We were able to submit it at the last hour. Pero sa one week na yun
halos walang tulugan...I personally was amazed how it did came out. All
gears are not so high-end. But I was so thankful to God that
Tagumeņos accepted it with a standing cheers. Halos Mapaiyak ako nung
pinalabas sa wide screen...palakpakan at sigawan yung mga tao.... not
moved by the applause....but by how God has blessed Tagum... in just a
simple aspects of its culture, people and place man, I can say that this
is our HOME.....I was a little bit intimidated by the contesting
entries...they were from Sunshine TV , Davao City High, Davao Province
with Mr. Ian Palejo III and Rudolf Alamang of Alchemy of VIssion and
Lights... But was deeply touched by the cheering croud when it was
shown.
Flashback...Since December... I was casting for a lyricist of the song
that I will be producing for an MTV... Chic knows this.... I was
soliciting Ahmeds, chic and other batch if they could write a poem bout
tagum....
last minute na, 3rd week sa Feb a Law student of Ateneo (Sheena Mae
Onlos) came out a song rendetion bout their tribes... we collaborated
but napakahirap gawa ng hindi kami nagkikita.Tinawagan ko sya Phone
patch yung call at pinakanta ko sya dun. Nakuha ko yung melody yun
tuloytuloy na.. I arranged the song agad 7 Days Before the contest. then
shot and then Edit... parang Marathon yung nangyari.

Thank God it did well.. and thank you also Batchmates for the
inspirations.
My wife who's in Canada was so happy when she heared that we won Grand.
I did this not Just for my self but also for you Tagumenyos who are out
there... somewhere, somehow Tagum is something that we could be proud
of.
Expect guys that I will do more projects just to promote Tagum...
I wanna show the country and the world that Tagum is a nice and
beautiful place to stay....
