First off, let me say that LONG ISLANDERS SUCK!!
I'd have to say there was no more than a handful of us standing and cheering for Taylor. Not that they weren't enjoying the show and I don't expect everyone in the arena to jump up and down like monkeys (like I did...lol) - but come ON! The dude is trying his best -doing everything but stripping butt naked to get you guys into it...
*stops and thinks about Tay stripping butt naked*
Okay, I'm back.
Taylor even said, after singing 'Pokey Way' (I believe that was the song): 'If that don't get you movin', there's something wrong with ya!'
Anyhoo, enough of those losers!
The show was fantastic! I took a few good pics with my NEW digital camera!! I'm still getting used to it but in the meantime I figured out something else:
IT TAKES GREAT VIDEOS!
I taped the ENTIRE opening act, which was 'Gonna Move'...I didn't care if I got arrested! Then the security guy came over and ever-so-gently asked me to stop videoing - so I listened, he really could've put me on blast but he was very discreet.
But that didn't last long! Because I taped some song he sang at the end of the concert...can't remember the name but he came back out ALL ALONE and sat on a stool and played acoustic guitar.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!
I had a HELL OF A DAY trying to get back home (I posted a comment on Tay's board letting him know just how bad it was - check it out, it was comical if nothing else)
What should I do with the videos, guys? I know Taylor asked us not to post videos so I don't want to, so should I put it in photobucket or something? Well, first I have to figure out how to download it, then I can upload it into photobucket.

hey baby!!
i totally understand about these people that sit during the entire show...at foxwoods, they all did the same thing, i was asked to sit down, stop videoing, stop taking pics...i actually stood up at one point and said..."COME ON...THIS IS EFFIN PATHETIC, HES BUSTIN HIS ASS FOR YOU!!"...i dont know...it made me sad, mad, upset...all of the above...i felt bad for him, but he also cut the show short a little, too...kinda makes me wanna apply for the job of working the crowd up before he comes out, ya know??
the vids...we have been keepin our vids private, and photobucket is the perfect way to do it...when u figger it out how to upload them, thats what id do...if u need help, im sure someone around here will help you...me included!!!!
5 days til Beacon, and we are SO GOING TO DANCE AND SING AND YELL AND SCREAM AND MAKE HIM KNOW THAT WE APPRECIATE HIM!!

NEW ENGLAND??? I didn't know that's where you guys were - New England!!
(...time in New England, took me away...to long rocky beaches, and you by the bay - we started a story, who's end must now wait and tell me, when will our eyes meet, when can I touch you...when - )
Oh - sorry! Went on a Manilow tangent!!
I figured out how to upload into photobucket - yay! And I did it all by myself too!!! So I'm working on doing this and I'll let you guys know as soon as I'm done.
*Oh and by the way, it's 12 days until Beacon (I got super-excited when you said 5! lol) |

Okay now that I have ONE of the videos uploaded - how do I do this? Do I ask everyone to PM me for the link, or post the link here? Then again posting the link here means ANYONE can get it just by lurking...so I assume everyone should PM me for the link, k?
Video #1: ENCORE - Taylor (one-man show on a stool) performs 'Long Distance Love' on acoustic guitar! I missed the first 10 seconds of it but it came out VERY good! |

Also, Tay says he doesn't want more than one min of vids for public consumption. You can, however, make private vids...and I'll stand in line for a copy, LOL!!!!! Glad you had an incredible time, but the best has yet to come, huh, guys?????
