Ok this is just the prelude to the competition, But I found out today that I am automatically in this time.
No Auditions.
No waiting to hear back..
Just in...pass go and collect the $200!!!
Yay me!!
It's a short 6 weeks...
Quit a bit different this time around.
No more points from judges.
Just the actual amount of votes each night from those in attendance.
Shite...now I gotta go find me some seat fillers with pens so they can write my name down each week.
Too bad they won't take votes over the internet... cause I know you guys would come though for me...wouldn't you???
Lets hope that "Vote for the worst" doesn't come into play here...but then again it might work in my favour....lol
I have no idea who else will be in, because I don't have to be there for anything until next week. I guess I'll know who my competetition is then.
Send the leggie love and karma my way ok....I'll do my updates as per usual and I will send Mp3's to those who want em....Let me know which list you wanna be on.

I will...for sure ...because you said I could...you know that song has become a part of me now too.
I sing it everyday and I always think of you and of course all the leggies.
Because of that song and of course that grey haired dude...we all found each other.For this I am eternally grateful!!!

Ok...UPDATE!!!!!
I have to warn you that I am typing this with a 102 fever and have been sick ever since Wednesday night.
It was fun ...but really tough.
I actually didn't even know I was this sick until the night was half over.
Week one: Impersonators night!
Well I really had a hard time with this one.
I had already done the few people that I could think of in the past competitions and I was bit stumped.
I mean it's one thing to get up and sing a song like someone
but It also has to be somebody that has a style that if you dress up like them,people will know who you are just by looking at you.
SO Here is what I came up with.
you have to remember this is pretty low budget.
We find all our stuff in our own closets or at the local thrift shops.
It's fun though seeing what you can come up with.
I love the costume part. It's like Halloween every week.
Song #1.Hit me baby one more time...Britney
This one was sooo good, because the minute I came out,
all the guys were a whistling...
I made a crack about old men and school girl uniforms and it got a big laugh.
This was a fun song. I tried some growly things with my voice and it sounded pretty good I guess.
I do have a bit of a problem trying to imitate the person who sang the song originally.
I usually like to put my own spin on it, but it is an impersonator week so I did my best.
Song #2...Borderline..Maddona
This dress is one of my grade 12 grad dresses (tea dress) Authentic 80's gear...lol
I have sung this for years so it wasn't too bad.
I was feeling pretty crappy by this point and to be honest
I was almost having an outer body experience during this one.
All I could think of was how bad I felt, and How I should prolly be home and in bed.
Which is what I did....right quick after my song
I didn't stay for the end and I'm not really sure how the rest of the night went.
Hopefully I can get my voice back (as I sound pretty much like Mickey mouse on helium right now) for next week.
No theme...So I will prolly try "Chris' song" If I can.
I don't have any Mp3's because I didn't stick around long enough to get em.
I'll see what I can do later.
I love you all and I miss each of you like crazy.
