OK...it's been way to quiet round the Legs Site....WWAAAAAAAYYYYYYY TO QUIET!

I decided since it's been awhile since we all talked,I thought I would start a thread that we could all drop into and post a reply to fill everyone in on what the "H" has been keeping us busy and away from our Leggie Family.

I know we have lost touch with each other and what's going on in our lives. I thought this would be a great opertunity to have a reunion sort of thing so we could touch base and re-connect even for a moment.

Please feel free to write as little or as much as you want. I just really miss you all and wanted to know how you are doing.

Let's Get re-Acquainted..........

1. What drew you to Taylor?

That goes without saying...His eyes.
I loved how at his audition, when he was finished singing he looked away, off to the side...so unsure of what was going to happen. He kinda bit his lip and shuffled a bit, before looking back at the judges...he melted my heart.....and right at that moment..it was sooooooo over for me.

2. What brought you to the Legs?

I remember stumbling onto the original thread at the old old place and laughing my ass off at the girls, I just knew they we're my type of peeps. I would have followed them anywhere and kicked anybody A** who wanted to mess with The Legs!

3. How long have you been a Leggie?

Almost from the beginning....It might have been about a month or so into the original thread. Dawggie, Sarah, Sher and Jody with a Y (lol) made me feel like one of the gang from my first post and I never looked back!

4. When did you know you we're one of the Legs?

When I was given an official F'r number and the privilege of reading Dawggie IOM FanFic...Loved every word....Made me go back to writing....although it took me about 2 years to actually get brave enough to write my own story....prior to that it was poems only.

5. What was your favorite thread to read and/or post on?

I always loved to read the fanfic stuff....But the Hotness Pics made me THUD.....and the comments Cracked me up!!!!

6. What do you miss the most about The Legs

I miss the feeling of fitting in...having people that "Got Me"...I always felt like everyone here knew me better than most of the people in my Life.
I felt like I could be myself and you all just accepted me for who I was on the inside...I felt Loved!

Nope and it breaks my heart into a million pieces.

NOPE...another heart breaker!!!!
But I am hoping that one day I will get to go with my leggie sistahs!!!

10. What is your favorite Tay song and why?

So many...But prolly "Just to feel that Way" always made me think of all the crap we had to go through to stay together.....funny thing is I can almost see all your faces every time i hear that song.

Catching Up......
1. Have you moved, changed jobs, finished school etc.

My job ( director of Education for Spa Academy) is like having 3 jobs at the same time...between my own clients, teaching classes and all the admin stuff it has been keeping me running in circles most of the time...BUT I love it!

2. How is your family? How are the Kids?
My family is great...my kids are growing like weeds...my son just turned 9 and my daughter is 5 1/2 going on 15. Not a day goes by when they don't say something that makes me snort laugh.

3. Anything big Happen in the last little while?

I just completed my Master Pedicurist certification and now officially have Letters after my name. I am now working on my Bachelors degree in Podolgy...like I didn't have enough on my plate.

I am still singing weekly in my Karaoke league competition. It keeps me sane....I know it's not the big leagues, but it enough for me to stay connected to my soul. I have never felt better about myself as I do when I sing. I finished 2nd over all in the standings. Our finals for the spring League is on the 25th, so now it all comes down to one performance, one song.....one of these days I will find somebody to video me.

4. Are you planning a vacation this Summer

We always go camping in July, it's sooooo much fun. Then we usually head to West Edmonton mall with my kids. They Love it there, and it's kind of payback for all the wilderness they put up with

5. Any "Taylor" Dates in your future

Nope...but I am looking forward to living vicariously through all you guys!!!!

6. What will the fall bring for you?

More work, maybe a trip (fingers crossed) and most certainly Snow!!!
I am also hoping That Taylor will bring his "Cone Ranger" act a wee bit closer to me...and I am praying each night that it will include a Shadow Tour along with it!!!

I can't wait to read all your answers!!!!

1. What drew you to Taylor?

OMG. His soul. The way he just poured his soul out in every single note.
Not to mention that beautiful face...and his back...ok im done...LOL

2. What brought you to the Legs?

Well, I was sorting thru all the threads at THF one night, about 2 weeks
in to Taylor's win, and stumbled across Taylor's Legs. A thread started by
uh, can't remmy, but Dawggie was one of the first to reply, and it just kinda
snowballed. We were there all the time, just thuddin and drooling over him.
It was amazing to say the least, how we all managed to stumble into each
others lives.

3. How long have you been a Leggie?

Since the beginning. *hears angels sing* I am so proud. smile

4. When did you know you we’re one of the Legs?

From the beginning. It's like someone knew where I had to be at the
right time.

5. What was your favorite thread to read and/or post on?

LMAO!! Had to be T&E attacks!! I swear that shit put me in stitches...OH and of course
the fan fic, most notably IOM. Thanks Chrissy.

6. What do you miss the most about The Legs?

Getting together and seeing all their beautiful faces.

1. Have you moved, changed jobs, finished school etc.

I recently got divorced after almost 15 years of hell...WOOOOOOO!!! I'm still
working at Dunkin Donuts. Been there for almost 1 1/2 yrs. I'm currently
going to school to be a Medical Assistant, and I'm still workin in the box
(guard shack)

2. How is your family? How are the Kids?

Kids are ok. It's been a big adjustment for them. Not only did I get divorced from their dad,
but he is also laying in a hospital bed at the moment (since mar. 9, 5 days
after our divorce) and is paralyzed from the waist down.
Now some would say it's karma, but I say it's B.S. Cuz instead of having
him around to help me with the girls, I'm doing this ALL on my own. It's
been a struggle to say the least. But I WILL survive.

3. Anything big Happen in the last little while?

See above answer.

4. Are you planning a vacation this Summer

HAHAHAHHA! That's funny.

1. What drew you to Taylor?
Honestly, I wish I knew. I knew from his audition he'd take the Idol prize, but beyond that...I think it was the need in his voice, the desire to express how he felt and make me feel t to. And he made me laugh - that's always a clincher.And he played an instrument, something I have always wanted to do, and eventually, the people around him. His family, and friends, and fans...they've all been so good to me, made me feel alive for the first time in a long, long time.
2. What brought you to the Legs? Esh, I think it was Dawggie's asking for a title for her second fanfic. I just immediately liked her sense of humor and her irreerentness and so sweet heart. She ushered me in and, though it's hard, I'm a Leg for life.
3. How long have you been a Leggie? November of '...06? God, long enough to recognise some of the inside stuff, but not long enough to be considered Core, I guess. But never long enough to do without.
4. When did you know you we’re one of the Legs? I dunno. I guess from the start.
5. What was your favorite thread to read and/or post on? Oh, fanfic, surely. I like to read. And I miss writing - damn life intruding, lol.
6. What do you miss the most about The Legs? My friends. The Legs was a place of joy, laughter, love, and friendship - with or without Taylor. I miss that. It'd be nice to get back to it.

8. Have you met any of the Leggies in Person? Yes, and what a great time we've all had so far. I still can't wait for the opportunity to meet the rest.
9. Have you seen Taylor in Person? *nods*........How many times? Oh, gosh, In no particular order.......1 AI show, 1 Nashville solo, 1 B'ham solo,1 book reading, um 1 sortof meet and greet (I was just in the same room) in 'Ham, 1 NOLA Endymion Extravaganza, 1 Elvis Fest in Tupelo, 1 Columbus solo, 1 Leg-filled but not actually at the show in Pennsylvania solo (one of the best times EVER), and one massive fun trip to Chicago in January, with a Meet and Greet that I so was proud of myself I didn't run screaming into the night out of. I wanted to, but...I just knew I had to try to do this thing. And it didn't go near as bad as it could have.
10. What is your favorite Tay song and why? I like just about all of them, but I think I like The Right Place best. I love the story - it's background...and I am a severe romantic, even if I try like hell to deny it. If a guy were to sing such stuff to me, I would turn into a puddle, just sayin'.

Where he's at home on the stage, has forgotten he has an audience, and you can feel his heart reach out and squueze the hell out of yours. You can't breathe, you can't sing or dance along, and God if he chooses to smile after that, you're dead - might as well just give it up right there. When he's not politically correct, when his eyes burn into you and butterflies do the jitterbug in the lowest pit of your stomach, and he's real...Okay, preaching to the choir. Moving on....

1. Have you moved, changed jobs, finished school etc. None of the above, yet. But soon! I'm hopefully moving to Alabama next summer.
2. How is your family? How are the Kids? Well, nostly. Kerith has gotten huge, and is doing mostly good. Not the best pic of us, sorry - we just had our little Slurpee born here.

Kerith has an eye condition that is a disability called nystagmus. She'll be in special needs classes in the fall. Second grade...God, people, imagine it. When I became a Tay fan, she was still going to pre-K. The mind boggles. Other than that, nothing majorly different in so far as family.
3. Anything big Happen in the last little while? Hm. Not really, no.
4. Are you planning a vacation this Summer Nope - too poor, lol. I hope to get to Disney in October for my daughter's birthday, though. That's in October, though.
5. Any “Taylor” Dates in your future If I can scrape up the money to go to B'Ham in September, I will. Other than that, no, not really.
6. What will the fall bring for you? Hopefully good grades and fun classes, lol!
