Does anyone know what team if any Kenny Lofton is playing on? He was my first favorite Indians player and I haven't heard anything about him. Did he retire or something??

He was offered a deal from the Reds and turned it down, I hope the Indians can offer him something good and he can come back to us, I really feel he should be here when we win the World Series, it would just be a good thing for Cleveland fans and well Kenny.

I think they're saying that because he was there in 07, so I think they made it after that....I don't think they're foreshadowing it lol. But I would love for him to be back....

He can't come back until May 15th or so, because the Indians didn't offer him arbitration... but I know I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I would love to see him back

In all honesty, I'm not trying to sound negative here, but if you look at the facts, I really don't think ANYONE is going to sign him. He's old and he wants SO much money..it's just sad..

No it's not negative Bree, it's logical thinking there. Kenny has to realize that hey no one is going to give you what you want so if you want to play you have to be reasonable, kind of like if C.C. doesn't get his act together, no one's going to offer him what he wants....

lol..I thought I'd mention someone who was more greedy than Kenny, but in a way, C.C. is young so he has more time to develop into a better player, Kenny, he's not getting any younger....

I would love to see Lofton come back to Cleveland but you guys are right, money does come into play with ball players and sometimes it sucks. For me, I would rather give up a few dollars to play with a great team that has the potential to win a championship. Stuff like that doesn't come easy and a lot of players who make it to the big leagues never get to experience it.

Lofton said no to an offer from Tampa Bay for over one million dollars. Here's an article on how frustrated he is, but that's the latest news on him....

But on All Bets Are Off, Bruce said that he really doesn't see Kenny coming back to Cleveland no matter what, mainly because of his age, but because we have Francisco in case something were to happen to Dellucci or Michaels and then we have Choo, which he will be healthy again around mid May.
